As part of the Essential Critical Infrastructure Structure Workforce, as identified by DOD and DHS guidance, BatteryJunction.com plays an essential role in the supply chain across a swath of critical industries. Our customers include hospitals, and medical device manufacturers, major defense contractors supporting our national security, and every government agency from local 1st responders, to the DoD and DHS.
We?ve taken proactive steps to ensure our associates and their families are protected. As of Monday March 23rd, one third of our office staff is working from home, and by the middle of this week we expect our entire office staff to be working remotely. We beg your patience as they adjust to these new circumstances and ask that whenever possible you utilize email and chat, rather than phones. We?ve ceased all business travel, put in place new policies to ensure sick team members stay home, and established new sanitary procedures to follow CDC guidelines on prevention. Lastly, we?re stressing the importance of social distancing both at and away from work.
Our services and deliveries will continue along with our commitment to keep our customers, partners, employees and suppliers safer during such times. It is our duty and responsibility to take care of each other, to flatten the curve, and to bring back normalcy.
