A much safer way to carry batteries than rolling around loose or in a cardboard box.

Useful for the storage of loose batteries. I have had these plastic cases for a few years now and not one of them has failed yet.

Safely holds batteries.
October 17, 2017
We use these to safely hold the lithium batteries for the "emergency" flashlights in our vehicles. When needed we don't have to fumble/fight with packaging. By keeping the batteries separate, if the happen to leak it will not destroy the flashlight. With the number of flashlights that take 3 AAA batteries, I would appreciate a model that holds 3 batteries.
ProsLight weight. Closes securely. Can load less than 4 batteries and still not have them rattle around.

Cool AAA battery case
February 17, 2017
I always had a problem with my AAA battery's as where to put them so they won't roll around or get lost. With this AAA battery case that holds four per case this is a god send. I can put them in and forget it, no more problem as to rolling around losing them miss placing them, there in one place from now on. I will definitely let my friends and family know about these battery cases there fantastic I had batteries in my pocket loose one time and they have burned through my pocket and burnt my leg. Now with these new cases I don't have that problem anymore. I can go mobile anytime without any worries. Thank you so much Battery Junction.
ConsNothing at all.

Seems a solid case
December 31, 2016
What's important about a battery case, anyway? Well, it needs to hold the cells securely so whether there's just one or it's full, there's no rattling about... And it needs to close securely, so it doesn't open while in your pack or case or luggage... And it needs to open reasonably easily despite closing securely... And it needs to be cheap, to boot. The Tenergy 4 AAA case actually does all these, although the "opening reasonably easily" can be a bit of a challenge if you have weak or arthritic hands. I'd be careful when opening the case if it has been left out in the cold; let it warm up a bit before trying to force the tab down to pop free the mating clasp. The Tenergy 4 AAA case is a "scaled down" version of their 4 AA case. Some might use the AA case for both AA's and AAA's if extras for both are needed.
ProsHolds the cells securely Closes securely; won't open easily when bumped about as you travel
ConsOpening the clasp might be a challenge for those with weak or arthritic hands The smaller size of the AAA style makes snapping off the clasp piece less likely, but still I'd let the plastic warm before flexing it to open the case.

Good, inexpensive battery case

I have a one-AAA flashlight I always carry. One AAA battery doesn't last long in a light you're using. So instead of carrying spare batteries loose in a bag, pocket, or pouch, it's very helpful to have a simple, small container custom fit for holding just a few replacement batteries. It's nothing fancy, but it's helpful.

AAA, you must carry spares.
November 9, 2016
I am one Who Must carry a Flashlight, or Flashlight(s) . . . I have worked Nights most of my life. I have lived Off Grid, as well. And required Light out doors. For my Work, I carried AA Mini Mags for a decade, and did the LED upgrade, as soon as they came out. For the last three years, I have retired the Weight of AA's, for AAA Batteries, and Expensive Flashlight brands. but One MUST carry back up AAA's, and these tiny Tenergy Battery cases are Perfect for that purpose. I also STORE my spares in Energy cases, it just makes sense,
ProsSmall, Light weight DURABLE.
ConsNone. and there really is no Product to replace it.

I have both the AA and AAA size cases. They open and close just fine, but I can see the hinge breaking over time. Still, better than having loose batteries in your gear bag.

Inexpensive but works
March 23, 2016
I also have this case in the AA size. Both sizes function extremely well. They fully encapsulate the batteries so the terminals are protected from damage and they can't come in contact with anything that would cause them to discharge. Ridges hold the batteries in place so leaving one or two in the case won't cause them to rattle and slide around. The case is easy to open, even with gloves, but will stay closed when intended. There is also a lanyard attachment point to help keep the case from falling out of a bag or getting otherwise misplaced.
ProsInexpensive Functional Protects battery terminals Allows used batteries to face opposite direction compared to fresh batteries
ConsExcessive use might wear out and break the hinge

They fit the batteries fine and don't seem to be too flimsy. The latch is a little fiddly, not the best for large hands, but still workable.
