Sorry, Duracell. You've lost a customer. For years I've used Duracell AA and AAA batteries in remote controls for my Home Automation system. There are about 15 identical remotes throughout the house, each using 4 AAA cells and performing the same HA jobs. Because of cell leakage problems, I've been slowly switching brands (maintaining the same brand in each remote and using only new batteries) as needed and learned that every leaking cell has been a Duracell. Identical remotes, batteries switched as soon as remote operation began to fail, but very different results. I feel that my old standby brand has failed me.It's disappointing.

I always purchase the Duracell batteries made in the USA. I have purchased Duracell batteries made over seas once. I will never do this again, they are unreliable. I have never had a problem with any Duracell battery made in the USA in any of my camera flashes or my remotes or in my sons XBox controllers.

Unreliable battery, goes dead quickly. I will not purchase them again. The Energizer last much longer in the same device. Buyer beware.

No expiration date imprint...lack the power to power my CB hand held transmitting radio. Works O.K. in weaker items.

Duracell's work what else do we have to know. The best part is the price. At quantities the price can't be beat.

I work at a University with over 150 card access locks in the dorms. They all take 4 AA each, this USA made Duralock has far exceeded any other battery on the market. With Battery Junctions prices one can not go wrong. I buy 288 at a time and the frequency of purchases has gone way down. This is the only battery I will buy...... AA, AAA, 9 volts. The University consumes a bunch of batteries, and above all do not forget to recycle the old ones!

American made so they cost more, but you are supporting our economy. I like that they have a 10 year shelf life.

A good buy for the brand. I usually buy Member's Mark at Sam's. But this is the same price and I generally buy several sizes at one time so this works out better for me.

Purchased 80 of these batteries to have on hand since we have 2 kids. Long lasting and way more economical than buying in store. Highly Recommend.

I'm hoping that these are better batteries than the Duracell made in china. I had some experiences with some of the others leaking acid after a couple of months.

Batteries arrived on-time. Was expecting them to come in a bulk all -in-one box. However they arrived in retail packaging of quite a few separate boxes, even a few that were just rolled up in plastic.

I've used plenty of batteries in my life and I've never had a Duracell explode or a depleaded out of the box or after being stored away for a long time. I keep a flashlight with Duracell in them for ready access in my car(s) and bed stand. It has never failed.

Duracell AND made in the USA?! I already had my cake and now I'm eating it, too. Duracell is IMO the most reliable, trustworthy battery out there. The USA units are of much higher caliber than the Chinese-manufactured ones, and at this price they are unbeatable.
