Low self discharge means that these are more likely to work after sitting around, versus other “normal” NiMH types. For me, this makes them great for devices in which regular rechargeable batteries make sense, but are sometimes infrequently used.

It does not take an expert in internet marketing to check around to compare prices on a marquee-name-brand product. Battery Junction offers Eneloop Pro batteries at the best price. With Eneloop, there is no need for careful calculations and comparison shopping, because Eneloop pros are the best batteries available in the sizes and offered.There are other batteries that hold a charge and maintain a good voltage throughout the discharge cycle, but there are no AAA NiMH 1.2 v batteries as good as these unless they are from another pack of Eneloop pros. I have a headlamp I use a lot, to see into and onto whatever I am doing when light is low. With these batteries, the light stays bright for hours. There is a slight dimming over the first 10 minutes, but from that point forward, there no batteries that keep the light as long and as bright as these. The difference is surprising. I had been running rechargeable duracell and Energizer rechargeables. They will stay lit for a decent period, but after that first ten minutes it's like I have an extra cell in my light with the Eneloop pros compared to those others. I like knowing my batteries are as good as batteries get, and that is why these are the only type of NiMH I run.

Stable Performance

I have been a user of the standard Eneloop range for many years and now the Pro Series. Hopefully the quality from the Sanyo branded to Panasonic branded does not prove to be an issue. So far so good, certainly give better run times than the standard Eneloops (which was fairly good to start with). If the "Pro" series gives me the many years of reliable service I will be very happy.

I use these little powerhouses in remotes to outdoor weather stations as they are rated for -40 degrees below F. Great Price does nothing hurt here at Battery Junction, plus 900mAh of power.
