I've been using these batteries and charger for a little over a year after I got tired of spending money on non-rechargeable batteries for my flashlights. I use my lights multiple times per day so rechargeable batteries were the obvious choice. I haven't tried regular Eneloops but these Eneloop pros work exceptionally well and can run almost as long as non-rechargeable lithium batteries before needing a charge, even when I'm out and about in very cold weather.
ProsSaves money over non-rechargeables More environmentally friendly Long lasting, even in high-draw flashlights

I have a scanner that is a battery eating machine, I got tired of spending $12 a week so I tryed the pro and I must say these outlast any battery I have ever spent aND wasted my money on! They could be cheaper but doing the math they are the biggest bang for your buck I will be buying more.
ProsOut last any
ConsCharge slowly So just get a double set still outlast any other on the market.

I have been using this charger for a few months now and have had nothing but good results. The ability to charge AA and AAA is especially useful. I would recommend this item to others.
ProsEasy to use, multiple size batteries accepted and the power/charging led's are an necessary part of this unit
ConsCould be faster. The unit could be smaller with a cable for the power input for use in power strips.

You buy a large pack of batteries at the box store for $30. You do that several times a year and it adds up. Next thing you know you've sent and thrown away over $100 away. One pack of the Eneloop batteries and your'e good for years. What's not to like?
