My First High Quaility Flashlight / Batteries
April 15, 2016
I just bought the Fenix TK75 Flashlight and of course needed batteries and these were suggested by the site, so I ordered a few, 8 actually as I also bought 1 battery extender for the light for added run time. So far the batteries seem to have to power the TK75 needs as I cant believe how powerful this light is. I certainly winced at the $20+ cost for each one, but they are supposed to be able to be recharged up to 500 times with a 75% recharge return rate. I will update this after I have had the batteries for awhile to see if the charge rate holds up and the overall reliability and build of the battery.
ProsHolds a strong charge and great build for longer run times and reliability. Looks extremely well built.
Has a lot of built in protection technology to protect the battery and any device it is being used in.
My Fenix TK75 runs great with them. (What an awesome Flashlight, My 1st high quality light).
I am going to buy 1 more Battery extender for even more run time for my Fenix TK75. I have read
it will hold up to 3 extenders, but recommends using no more then 2 for a total of 3 battery stations on the light
with each holding 4 batteries.
ConsCost!! At $21.00 each, they are certainly not the cheapest battery on the market and this light needs a minimum
of 4 of them to run properly, but not very long on the Turbo setting 140 minutes, the mid strength will go for
almost 12 hours On the low setting it will go 270 hours!! Add a battery extender & 4 more batteries and double all those run times!!!
The cost should be offset by being able to almost totally recharge (75% recharge rate) battery a reported 500 times.
I will see if this claim holds true. I will update this when I have had more time to research the capabilities
and build of the battery.
