This smart charger is an excellent product. It intuitively knows the battery that is loaded and charges appropriately. What more can you ask from a single charger. Excellent price and great features make this a wise purchase.

For the price it's hard to beat. I only need to charge one battery at a time. My only complaint is that the battery falls out very easily.
ProsEconomical with nice features.
ConsBattery falls out very easily.

Flexible, good termination
March 24, 2017
Overall I'm quite happy with this charger. With Lithium cells, it terminates the charge around 4.15-4.17 volts. I like this slightly lower termination voltage, because it should increase the number of cycles in the cell's lifetime, at the expense of getting slightly less capacity with each charge, which is what I personally prefer. The exact charge termination voltage is not configurable, so if you want to go to 4.20 exactly to get the maximum capacity, consider a different charger.
It's convenient that it does NiMH and also Lithium Ion (three types) of various sizes. It also reactivates protected cells whose protection circuit has tripped due to overdischarge (personally verified this works). I also like that it takes a 5V USB input instead of a wall plug, since then you can use it in your car or with a solar panel or when travelling to foreign countries.
The charge progress LEDs are not very accurate. With a nearly-dead NiMH, the first few minutes go from 0 to 3 lights, and then it takes another 4 hours to go from 3 to 4. Lithium-ion is better than that but still not linear.
This charger is very similar to the K2, which is a double-bay version. Do note that although the K2 can work in reverse as a USB power supply, the K1 does not include that feature.
ProsGood charger for both Lithium Ion and NiMH
ConsState of charge LEDs not accurate
