Great for all many of the smaller keychain type flashlights sold here on Battery Junction. Depending on the design of the device, it is sometimes possible for me to stack two of these CR2016 batteries if one of my devices call for one CR2032, should I not have any of the CR2032 on hand.

I use these coin cell batteries in several items. They work well and last just as long as the more expensive brand name batteries. I use them in my keychain lights and in one of my rifle scopes.

The web site: easy to navigate, pretty good technical information, easy ordering (did not have to create an account), check-out process was straight-forward. Shipping: 10 CR2016 small batteries came in a small plastic bubble padded envelope well within the estimated delivery time. Timely email messages kept me inform of order progress. Batteries: Maxell is a well-known brand and yet cost no more than some other relatively unknown brands. Each was separately sealed in strips of five. The strips showed no sign of age or wear and were all still air-tight sealed. I tested one with a VOM (high-impedance, meaning no-load) and found it to have a voltage of 3.30. Tested on a battery tester (with a load), the tester register well into the good range. I was a little concerned because the back of the packaging indicated "use by 2022". I understand that lithium batteries have a nominal shelf life of ten years, still having at least 80-90% of their charge at ten years. These appeared, therefore to have been on the shelf for five years, so they ought to provide full usage. I am guessing that leaving the unused batteries sealed may extend their self life. I used five of the batteries, one in a watch, two each in two tiny pinch lights (love those lights). We have enough other devices that we can probably use the remaining five within their shelf life.

I like the batteries, but, there are issues. First is that I bought the batteries for a viper car alarm security system. I had the key fob with keys attached in my front pocket when removed from the car. At that point it was easy for the keys to come in contact with the fob while in my pocket, which, ran the battery down. I noticed that with the old battery (originally supplied) would open the car from about a block away. With this new battery , you have to physically be very close to the car before it becomes operable. I had to get a separate piece for the fob to hang it on a pants belt loop.

great,lasting batterys for price....use in free battery junction keychain light and it was left on overnight and still a little dim

These button type batteries work very well and last a very long time

These little coin cells seem to work just as well to me as the Energizer ones that came with my keychain light. Just like everything else we buy from Battery Junction, great product and price.

Batteries at this low price allow me to justify keeping even my low-end keychain lights by replacing the batteries when needed. If I had to pay much more than $1 a battery, it would make more sense to just toss the keychain light when the batteries go dead, instead of paying more in batteries than the keychain light cost in the first place. Additionally, Battery Junction has several different brands in case you're a fan of one and not the other.
