I’ve been using this for a few years now and recently bought another for a backup. I’ve charged many types of batteries without a problem.

Wish I had this charger years ago. it gives you up to date status on each battery in the charging bank. Very efficient and easy to read.

After receiving a couple of these chargers about 3-weeks ago, I immediately tried them out with a big collection of the Eneloop AA and AAA batteries I utilize, and charged them to their full capacity as each individual battery should be. The chargers did a great job and I'm extremely happy with these devices. Highly recommend these Nitecore Digicharger D4 chargers.

Great all in one charger. I have one thats a couple of years old and I use it to charge my Eneloops and 18650's. Excellent reliable charger!

Cant say I like everyhtung about it, but it does what it says it will do. Took a few reads through the instructions to understand whats' what. But as far as charging your batteries and knowing the state of each battery it works well.

I purchased this charger more than 6 years ago and have not regretted it a single day. I love using Li-ion rechargeables way beyond the nicads I used to use many years ago. I have progressed to using many different configurations of battery combinations. This charger has proved that it will handle all my needs from AAA, AA, 16340, 18650, and my old nicads from years ago. It actually does many more than that. A tip: since it sits horizontal, it will collect dust on the contacts. Once in a while, turn it up side down and brush out the battery area with a soft brush to knock out the dust that accumulates in the battery area. You can also use a Q-tip with alcohol to clean the battery contact surfaces from accumulated dust and debris. From my experience, all Pros and no Cons.

AS has been stated it does charge any number of different batteries. It doesn't care what number of what you put into it or the level of dis-charge. It tells you what it is doing and the levels of charge. It is affordable and for me I can relax knowing Battery Junction is going to ship it in one piece.

The Nitecore D4-4 is just the best 4 slot charger period. It charges the most sizes and chemistries and is completely dummy proof. As well, If you feel the need to manage voltages and currents, it will allow you to do so also. It also can breathe new life into NO voltage Li-ions. Charges quickly and never got hot...( well, except for that one night. I just didn't have time to make a second run through the house and although it say's it is "Made from durable ABS plastic / fire retardant / flame resistant) " I'm betting it probably didn't survive. Totally on the must buy again list and brother, It's a long list now!

Very easy to use and relatively compact, well-made. Clearly indicates charging process and selects appropriate current for battery size and state of charge. Charges very quickly.

This unit charged three batteries with individual progress scales very well. Seems pretty good. I realize it is not good for the battery to charge to quickly. I could not find the serial number for the warranty card. I like this unit.

The charger is a quality unit. The readout is a bit weird to interpret the charging status, though.

This was my first charger purchase. I did some research by reading flashlight and battery related forums. This charger is easy to use and works well with our batteries. I have recommended this to our friends and family.

I have 2 of these, They are the best going, gets your batteries back in the running, This charger knows more about your batteries than you do. Refreshes them so they are like brand new, even if you have abused your batteries, it knows what to do, When you take them out of the charger, its like you just bought new batteries, You can't get a better charger.

Great charger you can cycle through many different modes, from voltage mah, and time elapsed. User friendly with a nice big display.

Got this to charge up a couple of 10440 cells that would benefit from charging with a low voltage setting and the D4 has a super simple manual setting you can switch to. It worked perfectly. outputs are totally easy to understand instantly for my first charger. The 10440 batteries I ordered were protected, though, and didn't engage with my Ultratac K18 I got on Amazon. The batteries were perfect, but I think the flashlight may have needed unprotected cells. I tried to confirm with Ultratac's non-existent customer service (neat light though) and had no answer so I asked to return the Mecarmy 10440s and try the Efest unprotected 10440s. No problem to send back, no problem to get credited even though Battery Junction had no fault, no problem to get a future credit if the new cells also don't work for other products (try the Klarus Mi6 keychain light!). Timely email responses to me like my order mattered even though it was very modest. This company has their act together and deserves some Kudos.

Bought this to charge a Nitecore NL166 RCR123A / 16340 650mAh 3.7V Protected Lithium Ion (Li-ion) Button Top Battery - Blister Pack and 3 Nitecore NL1834 18650 3400mAh 3.7V Protected Lithium Ion (Li-ion) Button Top Battery - Blister Pack and even though they are two different sizes it does them all at the same time. Like that it show where they are in there level of storage and that it shuts off when done with out over charging. I haven't bought a charger in 10 yrs and I'm not disappointed in this one.

Have several different chargers, but this is my go to charger for my rechargeables. Alot of info on the display if you are into all of that, but I like the fact that it pretty much charges everything that I need to recharge and the price point is good. Can't go wrong with this charger.

I have had and used the nitecore i4 charger for years and decided I was ready to upgrade my charger. Great choice, I really enjoy the digital read out. Highly recommended.

Nitecore design and function on this CHARGER is superb!.

I've had this charger for a few years and I've charged RCR123s 18550 18650 26650 all without issue. My only gripe is the long time it takes to charge. It maxes at 750mA current. I'm not sure if we couldn't charger at twice that, but for safety purposes I'm fine with the slower steady charge.

Easy selection on individual battery read out, and shows how much is left. Accurate and simple usage.

Charged up a bunch of batteries after receiving my unit with no hiccups or problems. Does not get overly warm as some others mentioned. Batteries were 18650, RC 123's, and AA rechargeables. LED info was accurate and helpful.

Charges various sizes of batteries accurately and in a timely manner. Able to keep my spare18650 batteries fully charged without problem as the charger senses optimum charge and automatically shuts down as each individual batter reaches full charge. Would highly recommend this charger.

The Nitecore along with the batteries being charged runs hot to the touch. I have a La Crosse charger that runs warm to the touch. How long will the Nitcore last since it runs hot?

I have several different size li batteries and using all the different size and types of chargers. This one does it all, very professionally made,and charges the batteries quickly, and the controls and display window is a much welcome touch.

Finally a charger that can recharge all types of rechargeable batteries. Quality built! Rapid charging! Minimal to no heat! Clearly tells you which batteries you attempt to charge are bad, preventing you from wasting time and and therefore money attempting to recharge.

Unit arrived quickly and well packed; after unpacking, I plugged the unit in and promptly charged a set of RCR123A batteries without issue.

Decent charger and have bought 6. They display information about the charging of the batteries that you need to make sure the battery has good life. Good charger but service with nitecore is another issue. Beware of service issues directly with nitecore. They want to sell you their product but not really interested in servicing it in a timely matter. It took 2 months to send have them repair it and send it back.

The digital readout gives you confidence in knowing the status of your bartteries as they charge.

Works perfectly and is exactly what I was looking for. A charger which would charge most batteries, work on 12V card, normal home power, and solar. Service was excellent.

I have tried this charger with every type and size of battery and it works great. It may take a while to charge when fully loaded but that is to be expected. The display is good and very informative.

Loved the one I had so I bought two more - one for my daughter and one for my granddaughter so they can break the alkaline habit:)

I had the 2 cell version of this unit but needed to charge 4 AA's at a time. So UPGRADE and this rig really did the trick it was able to recognize all the AA batteries that I put to it all the 1600mA 2500mA and others worked perfectly. Also I have a few of these 26650, 22650, 18650 no problem auto identified and charged with no problem at all. I cannot say any thing more just GREAT !!!

Can't believe I waited so long before purchasing this charger! The D4's digital display and auto sensing of battery types and charge levels is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size, great display, capable of charging multiple battery types at once. Extremely pleased with the purchase.

Good product ... solid and reliable. A bit slower charging than I had anticipated, but still happy with it. Instructions on use could be clearer, and more specific on exactly what the read-out is telling the operator, but after the first use, it becomes clear.
