Nice Light
June 24, 2018
Everything good about this one. Fit and finish is nice. Has a nice heft to it for a compact light. Controls are easy to learn. I didn't get it for the Red LED but its a fun feature. Pretty awesome emergency light as it tail-stands securely and has decent run times. The voltage code output when you loosen the cap and then tighten is excellent. And the sleeve for CR123's if not using an 18350 is a nice touch. I am going to keep it.

Nice EDC

I like the light a lot, but wish it had a tail cap switch. Sometimes the side on/off button gets pushed and the light turns on and runs for hours (on low setting) before I realize it has been on the whole time.
ProsSmall, light weight, great out put, Good sale price.
ConsSide on/off switch causes accidental "on," state, wasting battery power.

Wonderful product. Easy to carry on my belt. Plenty off power(s). A friend with same light claims "indestructible"

Excellent lighting, but poor switch.

Overall, this is a great light. I've gotten about nine months of use out of it.
ProsIts modes are nice, from red for night vision preservation, to very bright for great illuminations.
ConsThe main power switch wore out MUCH too quickly. I now have to hold in about half way to get any light, but it will not stay on in the "ON" mode. Neither click does anything to keep the light on. They incorporated a very cheap quality main switch. I will now be moving on to a different brand in the hopes that THEY choose better switches than Nitecore.

Super bright. The red light is great for walking around the house at night without ruining my night vision or waking others.

This is a great little light. Using a rcr123 this is Bright, but put in a imr 18350 battery and WOW talk about Bright it opens up a whole new world.

Died after a few months
March 26, 2016
I actually had problems with light soon after I got it, but it would come back to life after resting. This time it is permanently dead. Just doesn't turn on. I tried the double button press with no luck. It is a nice light otherwise, very bright and I like the user interface, but if it doesn't turn it, it is pretty useless.

A Lot of Light in a Little Package
January 28, 2016
This flashlight is compact but powerful and the instant ON red LED feature is nice for situations where you don't want to ruin your night vision (I'm an amateur astronomer. I don't use this as my EDC, but it's a good back up and conversation piece. It's definitely the brightest production flashlight for its size that I've found.
ProsVery bright max output. One press ON red LED, turbo and moonlight access is handy. Extermely compact for such a powerful light.
ConsButtons are not easy to feel for in the dark and almost impossible with gloves. Max 900 lumen output requires the use of a lower capacity IMR uprotected 18350 cell. Supplied lanyard won't thread through the hole in the cap (hole either needs to be bigger or lanyard thinner). Gets hot quite fast on Turbo.

This light is great quality... words cannot describe how pleased I am with this product. I use this for my EMS job and it comes is very handy. I also bring this out for evening jogs to light up my running path, works so well the gf wants one. ;)
ProsAmazingly bright. Compatible with 18350 or cr123. Excellent Versatility (Can be used for many different tasks.)
ConsLow MAH on the high output 7 amp batteries. You trade away longevity for a higher output (trade long life for crazy brightness.)

I wanted a upgrade from my olight S1 I lost ,I figured the nitecore ec11 would be a great option.Out put and ,throw does surpass Olight S1 but the dual side switch can be hard to find or activate in the dark, it is wider and thicker than S1 ,but it still earns the top 3 of all my 30 lights or so as an edc ,it's tough and can take a falk ,a drop in a pool of water and keep on ticking, great anodizing.
Prosgreat output tail stands
Cons switches can be confusing when you need in emergency

Did not last 3 weeks
December 13, 2015
I really liked the size of this light and had high hopes for it but the one I got only lasted a few weeks and I never even ran the first battery down before it quit working, Battery junction took care of it no problem and gave me a refund but the light itself was a disappointment.
ProsNice size several modes very bright
Consdid not last long

I'm running mine with a Nitecore IMR 18350
ProsLOTS of light!!
ConsSome type of internal battery drain kills the battery is about 3 days when not used. My "fix" is to store with tail cap loose.

I love this little light!

An amazing light, especially if you use it with IMR 18350 cells, wow the amount of light this thing makes is un belivable. I like the dual switch, it gives lots of modes and is easy to fin din the dark.
ProsBlows the hair off a cat at 50 paces.

A lot of light, but with an annoying switch setup.
August 9, 2015
This is a great pocket light, gives a lot of lumens for its size. Excellent beam pattern, slightly greenish cast though. The switch setup is not good for a pocket light. Compared to a tailcap switch, it is harder to find while removing the light from your pocket. Furthermore, it is easily turned accidentally on while in pocket. This requires one to use the lockout feature, which although it solves the inadvertent turn-on problem, introduces another delay in turning the light on. If you need a light or a strobe RIGHT NOW, you cannot get it with this light from lockout mode, it takes a couple of seconds.

It's fine if you like flickering lights
July 7, 2015
The refresh rate of the LED is horrible. I am constantly aware of a high speed flicker. No other flashlight I have owned has ever had this issue.

This flashlight is AWESOME!
June 14, 2015
I have received this flashlight over a week ago and all of my family and co-workers (security officers) are asking where did I get that and what's it called. It's damn near the best EDC flashlight that I ever owned, its so bright that you can feel the heat coming out of it. I use mine with the clip that it comes with and mount it to my shirt straps on my shoulder and it becomes totally hands free and don't have to worry about flashlight being too heavy and bouncing around and aiming in unwanted sights. The modes are easy to use and the little holster that is included its actually pretty cute. Cough cough** Best EDC flashlight, good throw and brightness for the size, and it works with Cr123 and 18350.
