The MC21C is a fine flashlight, a convenient size with very useful features. Besides the magnetic base and tilting head it has the ability to show the exact voltage left in the battery via a blink code which I prefer to the green-yellow-red indications most flashlights employ. Its settings accommodate close up to across a large parking lot illumination needs. The strobe pattern is dazzling and intense and there is a beacon and SOS function as well. My only question is why in a well programmed light there is not a last setting memory but this is easily overcome by dialing up to the required brightness.

So for those who work on vehicles till it gets dark, and need more light source coverage. I recommend you get two of these! The magnetic tail cap helps with providing more light. And the adjustable head helps with angle placement. This flashlight works better with a diffuser! (flood type throw).

I am still learning how to get the best out of this flashlight. It certainly gives plenty of light, but awkward to use with gloves on, and I have not figured out what the flashing lights tell me about the battery power availability.

Good work light but....

.... don't drop it a far distance. As a maintenance electrician, I love the versatility of this light. Won't hold up to a fall of thirty foot or do off of a scissor lift, lol. Not the flashlights fault. Currently ordered another. This time I'm going to look at some protection for it.

Right size well built. Works great for each. Magnetic base is useful at work as is the tilting head. Great job nitecore
