Nitecore is my choice for flashlights. Combined with rechargeable 18650 Ultrafire batteries you may not be able to cook a steak, but you will certainly be able to locate it on a moonless night.

I use this flashlight nightly. It has been a great tool. It shines a strong beam that can be a tactical advantage. I recommend this to anyone who works at night.

It's no Surefire
July 14, 2015
Nice features. But what a cheap made in China piece of junk. It's bright. It's adjustable settings are nice. But it fell apart after 2 months. Small electrical piece fell out of the head. Very poorly made. I would not trust my life on this brand of lights. Chinese made junk. Buy a Surefire. You get what you pay for.
ProsA very nice paperweight.
ConsIt is very poorly made. It's not a Surefire. It fell apart after 2 months without ever being dropped. I have run over my Surefire lights and they have never failed to function. The Nitecore warranty sucks. And I can't return it because it's been over a month. Buy a Surefire lifetime no bullshit warranty and their reputation in quality and reliability is unmatched by any flashlight manufacturer on earth.

Great Duty light
March 2, 2015
Working patrol on the midnight shift for the Sheriff's Office means having a quality light can mean the difference between life and death. The Nitecore P20 definitely lives up to the hype. Works great as a primary duty light when coupled with the BlackHawk Night Ops flashlight holder. Outstanding combination for anyone needing a good quality light and a means of holding it security but allowing its quick access. Several modes make the P20 versatile and running on rechargeable 18650 batteries means not paying an arm and a leg on batteries throughout the year.
ProsSmall. Light weight. Rechargeable. Reliable.
ConsThe clicky tail switch can act up in extreme cold temps in the 10 degree range.

"HOT" Light!
October 4, 2014
Very bright light at 800 lumens. However, after only 5 minutes, the flashlight was very hot. Almost too hot to even hold.
ProsBright, clear light.
ConsAfter only a few minutes, the light was too hot to hold.

Fantastic light for the $$

The Nitecore P series are just solid, dependable lights for the price. This is my third. One for the nightstand, one in the car, and one to carry.

Satisfactory light.

Challenging instructions. Works best with CR123 batteries rather than 18650 rechargeables. Narrow distance beam not sharp around edges.
ProsWorks as advertised. Cost effective. Small size fits in pocket.
ConsBeam not as focused as with more expensive Nitecore products. Small size may not be suitable for large hands.
