As others have said, the protection circuit doesn't allow more than about 3A before opening. This cell can handle 5.6A continuous according to the spec sheet so the 3A limitation is very disappointing. Other than that, they are decent cells.

These batteries are very good quality and the output is what it says. These seem to hold a charge a little, 10-15%, better than some of the other less expensive batteries out there.

On my tester this only will do 3 amps then it opens circuit

For those needing a battery with a protection circuit. These are a great price @ 4.75 each and the two I bought charged up to 2750 and 2779 mah respectively on my fancy charger's discharge/charge cycle. I put these in flashlights that have a built in usb port for charging as an extra safety precaution.

Great cell and you cant go wrong going with samsung. Seems to be very tough (have dropped it many times) and holds a charge alot longer than some of my rerapped cells that claim a higher mah rating. I highly recommend this product.
