When selection was out of stock, they quickly recommended an excellent replacement and sent them out. The batteries work fine, but they lack +/- markings (and are buttonless-type), so one needs to be careful installing them. The charger works great and is inexpensive.

It charged up two new batteries and an older battery without issue. It's pretty compact and easily fits on my desk out of the way. The only issue I see with it is the spring loaded mechanism to allow you to charge 18650 batteries compared to CR123A-rechargeables. The spring is so taut that it's not a quick and easy placement of a 18650 battery into the charger. Also, when you remove the 18650 battery, you need to watch your fingers as the end piece snaps back to the CR123A size.
