Been using these batteries for my high drain lights. They offer the stated capacity and have stayed so after many charging’s.

So far, so good. Just received these replacement batteries for wireless home phones, so hoping the 1000 mAh capacity pays off.

Please be cautious when installing in metal housings such as laser pointers. The negative end is not fully wrapped around the end, and if not caught right away, could cause a short, lots of heat or permanent damage to the battery or electronic equipment. Other than that, works great!

Watch what charger you use

I tried using this with the Duracell Ion Speed 8000. The tops were too short to reliably be able to use this charger, and there were always two cells that measured a little lower when the set ran out. Luckily, I initially drained these first. I decided to just try putting these in the Maha MH808M, and they terminated reliably. Time will tell if this is not just a fluke, as I had a number of issues with AAAs on that charger. I decided just to drain them first before charging. Note: Duracell AAAs have a slightly longer top, so do Eneloop AAAs, and probably their pro line, and Amazon Basics. So, if you need to use the Duracell Ion Speed 8000, your choices of brands are limited due to the length of the tops for AAAs.
ProsHigher capacity
ConsTops a bit short. Cell consistency may or may not stay, depends on your charger. Certain devices having a plastic collar near their positive contacts may not run. See reason/s above.

They work and they are affordable

I have not used a ton of Tenergy AAA NiHMs like I have the Tenergy AA, C and D cells, but the dozen or so I have all work. Charge cycle after charge cycle they keep going. I am sure they are put together with the same attention to quality as the rest of Tenergy's products.

So far, so good.

The brand-name batteries claim that NiMH batteries can last through 1,000 charges. Well, that may be true, but after 50 or so, though they will hold a charge, they discharge rather quickly, even with reconditioning. So if that's the case, why not try generics? They may not be much worse. I've only been using these for a week, so it's hard to tell much. So far, they work well; high capacity and long-lasting. Time will tell, but they're doing the job well at present.

They Work
November 19, 2014
So I've used the regular Tenergy and the Premium Tenergy, and I'm not 100% sure what the difference of them is (charge rates?). They both work, they both have 1.2V, so I'm assuming the build quality of them is better. I know with other cells (RC hobbies) that volts, mA, and size can all be the same, but how the cell is built and works isn't. I've had no issue with these, and they work with the others. Great buy
