extremely handy to have around lets you instantly check the power left in a battery even tests button batteries other batteries from AAA up to D (even the less-common N batteries) panel at top shows strength of charge I've found the instrument is accurate with all batteries I tested.

The universal tester has a easy to read scale and allows for testing button type batteries. A must have in every household.

I should of had one of these years ago, Works Great it only takes a few seconds and you know if it is good or not

This is the only tester that I found that could test 3.5v battery for my security system.

Love that its easy to read on the screen, but we had a few batteries that we know that they did not work and test with a volt meter and the T-333 said it was still good? this was with coin batteries 2032 &2025 but all other batteries looks like it works fine.

I purchased this tester primarily to test CR2450 3Volt button cell batteries. Now that I have the tester (and 3 Volt Batteries also purchased from Battery Junction) I see that the CR250 batteries do not fit in the 3Volt round slot so I cannot test the batteries. I relied on their advertising that said Button cells or other batteries with same voltage could be tested. The tester itself says 3V in the round circle. Very disappointed in advertising and product.

It's not as accurate as the ZTS model. Of course the ZTS is more expensive.

This is a great little battery tester, Are use it all the time never failed me yet.

Simple, versatile, and inexpensive, this item is sold under a variety of brand labels, and no matter the brand, this checker is very useful to "separate the sheep from the goats" when you encounter a typical battery stored in that junk drawer, or a dim flashlight that has a number of cells. While it doesn't provide a "load" test capability, it still works well for Alkaline's and Carbon Zinc's, even most button cells you run into (since many are alkaline, not Lithium), but be aware that the test of "flat discharge" cells like newer NiMH and Lithium's might not be telling the whole truth unless they are almost totally depleted.

Saves money on battery replacement as often only one battery in a set loses power. without testing, you would automatically replace all the batteries in the item. with this you may only have to replace one or two.

Tester shows that the battery still has juice, but not HOW MUCH juice.

He is used to using a voltmeter, but now he has trouble holding the probes on the ends of the batteries and then reading the dial :( Thank you!

Great item! Can test various types of batteries. No longer have to guess if a battery still has any life in it or that it's discharged.

Great versatile product.

Unfortunately this tester is nothing more than a glorified voltmeter with a bar-graph. There is no load applied to any of the battery sizes and therefore next to useless to indicate the potential capacity left in the battery. If you look inside, it is very nicely constructed, nice PCB layout and looks like they were close to make this a true tester under load. There are a bunch of resistors that look like they're coming from each of the terminals, however, the only resistance that I measured is about 50kOhms, probably the impedance of the meter itself. Also, there's no current going through the battery when testing (measured with a Fluke). It's nice how they molded the case for various types of batteries, it's not too large, fairly easy to use, but again, not useful as a true indicator.

Does exactly what it's supposed to. Check the status of a bunch of different batteries nice and easy. Well made.

Over a year this has tested all the different size batteries. Now, I bought a 2nd one as a Birthday gift. Easy to use and more rugged than a mmutineer.
